Music - The Philosopher Kings

I was lucky enough to get a ticket to a great concert to the November 23rd, 2006 concert in Calgary. I've been to a few in my past, like Sting, Bare Naked Ladies, Montly Crue (when I was MUCH younger), Gowan and the Philosopher Kings. This was one of the most intimate concerts I have ever been too.

Rae, my wife, her younger brother, CJ, was going with a bunch of his friends and called saying that he had a ticket. I went and man it was great. I've got some pictures with all of the band members and also bought their new CD Castles. I was very lucky to have all the band members to sign the CD and I gave it to Rae for a surprise.

The opening band was the Jon Levine Band. Jon is the keyboardist in the Philosopher Kings. As well as the drummer, Denton Whited and the new bassist Marc Rogers.

At any rate, I had a great time as did the friends I went with. I have to thank Fran and CJ for the pictures!!
