What are these guys doing?

It is the time of year when crazy people running around a small island on motorcycles again.  The Isle of Man TT.  Where or what is this?   Here is where the Isle of Man is and here is the Isle of Man TT race is.

These guys are nuts!  Ohh, wait, what is more crazy is someone coming up with the idea that they need people to come to their small island and watch this!  Motor cycle races have been going on for decades but this has got to be the craziest thing going.
